The Jones County Solid Waste Management Commission considered and adopted Resolution 2026-1 at its July 7 meeting to establish a start-up cash fund in the amount of $500 and to clarify the absence of a petty cash fund. Jeff Swisher moved to approve the resolution; the motion was seconded by Dave Goedken. A roll-call vote recorded Schlarmann, Swisher, Goedken, Dircks, Phelan and Van Fossen as voting 'aye.'
