Public Works facility near completion stages; bond spending reported
City staff reported construction progress on the new Public Works facility: vehicle storage insulation is complete, material storage metalwork is in progress, near‑term tasks scheduled, and $2,113,969.54 of the $9,000,000 bond has been paid to date (23%). Completion is scheduled for August 2025.

City Manager David Larson provided an update on the Public Works facility at 104 East South Weber Drive being constructed by Valley Design and Construction, Inc. He reported that insulation for the vehicle storage building is 100% complete and the metal section of the material storage building is under construction; near‑term tasks include a floor drain, masonry work and rain gutter storage system installation.
