The Cass County Board of Commissioners on April 7 adopted Resolution No. 17‑26 authorizing the county to apply for a Region V Sourcewell Community Impact Grant to recruit a provider and expand Community Support Program services (CSP) in the southern portion of the county.
SWCD Conservation Manager Dana Gutzmann and county staff explained the grant would address an identified gap in CSP coverage in southern Cass County. The resolution states the funding aims to address unmet mental health needs and support initiatives to improve quality of life. The resolution passed unanimously (Ayes: Gaalswyk, Kangas, Bruns; Absent: Haaland).
