Mina Daniels presented the Emergency Management weekly report to the Comanche County Facilities Authority Feb. 17, noting that Emergency Management Director Clint Langford was absent. Daniels listed the week’s incidents: 105 EMR responses, 64 controlled burns, three structure fires, one smoke investigation, 15 service calls, one electrical hazard, 23 outside fires, four vehicle fires, two gas leaks, one Alert 1 and eight fire alarms.
The report was delivered as informational; no requests for policy changes or additional funding were recorded during the meeting. Several routine service and telecommunication invoices tied to emergency-management operations also appeared on the purchase-order list approved by the board.
