Board approves water-project change orders and seeks bids for White Oak Road projects

The board authorized Change Order No. 1 for the MGS Water Treatment Plant building improvements project with Structural Systems Repair Group, LLC, which reduced the contract by $25,000 to a total adjusted contract price of $195,510.00 and added a noncompensable three-day extension (revised completion date noted in the record). The board also authorized a reduction of $151,021.40 for the Rack & Ballauer Excavating Company contract for the Rumpke Road area water main replacement, producing an adjusted contract price to date of $2,032,555.60 and shortening the contract by 65 calendar days (revised completion date recorded).
Separately, the board adopted Resolution Number 182-25 to determine to make improvements and advertise for bids for Project Numbers 6401-60233 (White Oak Road Water Main Replacement - Phase II) and 6402-60233 (White Oak Road Sewer Replacement) in Pierce Township. The legal notice will be posted and a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for Jan. 8, 2026; bids are due Jan. 15, 2026 for the water/sewer projects as advertised in the record.
