Scott Bushee told the Selectboard that all bottles brought to the Transfer Station will now go into the recycling bin, that he is reviewing pricing for other items, and that the station’s camera system requires software upgrades. He said Community Center and Library windows have been installed and that he signed a new elevator-service contract with Mac Brothers at a cost of $3,960 per year. Bushee also reported a no-trespassing violation after debris was left at the Community Center back door and noted the Library needs a new sign.
Separately, following a 6:00 PM executive session on personnel matters, the Selectboard emerged and voted to create a temporary, part-time Transfer Station position to meet operational needs. The board flagged that staffing and facility projects will be examined in the upcoming budget process.
