A staff representative confirmed the funding is tied to state aid and that the department received guidance shortly before the meeting.
Committee members requested that future position requests include the state documentation and guidance that trigger requirements; staff agreed to attach such material in future submissions. The committee approved creating the position and noted that many of the positions discussed that day are funded through state or federal aid and often carry partial reimbursement (e.g., "62¢ on the dollar" referenced for certain social-services roles).
