Speakers across panels emphasized workforce programs and supply‑chain development as outcomes the state should measure. Andrea Hutchins (AWS) described the information infrastructure pre‑apprenticeship (I2PA) program — a paid, four‑week, hands‑on course AWS runs with community colleges — and said AWS has invested more than $12 million in Mississippi workforce and education since 2024. Compass and Meridian partners described a MEI pathway program and a 12‑week technical curriculum with Meridian Community College to prepare local residents for mechanical, electrical and IT operations roles.
