Planning commission approves Meradeck LLC zone change amid debate over Spring Creek road agreements

The Elko County Planning Commission voted to approve application COZ25-013, a change of zoning to agricultural-residential (AR) for multiple parcels submitted by Meradeck LLC. Staff said the change will enable splitting the land into roughly ten-acre parcels and will lower density compared with parts of the existing master plan; the approval includes conditions and deed language tying future conveyances to the commission's findings.
