The Porter Fairgrounds Trust Authority voted unanimously Jan. 8 to appoint seven people to the Fairgrounds Committee. Jackie Todd presented a list of nominees, and Mayor Steve Dickey moved to appoint Jackie Todd, Melanie Capps, Becky Dillingham, Matt Smith, Kaci Todd, Chrissy Parker and Joey Hatfield; Norma Meyer seconded the motion and the board voted yes: Ryan Moore, Steve Dickey, Norma Meyer, Kevin Walker and Lucas Beaty.
