The Jackson County Commissioners approved routine procedural business at their Aug. 19 meeting, including minutes for the July 22 special meeting and the Aug. 5 regular meeting, payroll in the amount of $609,274.32 and claims totaling $280,968.65. Commissioner Drew Markel made the initial motion to approve the minutes; Commissioner Matt Reedy seconded and the board recorded three yes votes on each item.
