Committee approves STOP DWI appropriations and the 2026 STOP DWI plan
The committee authorized planned annual appropriations for after-prom events from the STOP DWI budget and approved the 2026 Cayuga County STOP DWI Plan (resolutions 1-26-JP-8 and 1-26-JP-9). Motions passed unanimously.

Debra Dennis, representing STOP DWI, reported no operational updates but presented two resolutions for committee approval: 1-26-JP-8 authorizing disbursement of planned annual appropriations to Cayuga County schools for after-prom events for the 2025–2026 academic year from the STOP DWI Program Budget, and 1-26-JP-9 authorizing legislative approval of the 2026 Cayuga County STOP DWI Plan.
