The Family Children First Council voted to adopt a Service Coordination Mechanism that categorizes interventions into Level 1 (Informative-Light), Level 2 (Moderate) and Level 3 (Crisis Intervention). The mechanism sets a process for referrals that includes self-referrals and agency referrals, requires a signed Release of Information (ROI) and documents contact attempts; on the fourth unsuccessful contact the referring agency and the FCFC director are to be involved.
