The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on April 21 approved Resolution 2026-267, which authorizes the commissioners to sign a Purchase Order computer edit list prepared by the Fulton County Auditor in addition to signing individual purchase orders when necessary. The intent is to allow the edit list to be kept on file in the commissioners' office in lieu of journalizing every PO. The resolution also approved travel requests as submitted.
Commissioners said the edit list will be on file in the commissioners' office and that the board will still sign individual purchase orders when necessary. The resolution passed by a recorded vote of 3-0. The change applies to county procurement paperwork and is administrative in nature; the auditor will maintain the edit list on file.
