The Fulton County Board of Commissioners met April 9 and approved a set of routine measures spanning budget transfers, procurement specifications and personnel actions.
Among the recorded approvals were Resolution 2026-238 (approval of April 7 meeting minutes), Resolution 2026-239 (agenda approval), and Resolution 2026-240, which authorized multiple appropriation increases and transfers across county and grant accounts, including allocations tied to Lead Safe Ohio and PY25 NRG & Allocation grants. The meeting record shows the board adopted these measures with motions moved and seconded; the minutes record each vote as passing 3-0.
The board also approved specifications and authorized advertisement of proposals for lawn maintenance (Resolution 2026-241). County staff member Dennis told commissioners the scope added a vacant lot and the new Senior Center and that an engineers' square-foot entry was corrected after a decimal error. The board approved specifications and set proposal submission deadlines as required by local procurement rules.
Separately, the board approved specifications and authorized advertisement for bids on the Robert Fulton building roof replacement (Resolution 2026-242). Staff member “Jess” advised commissioners that whether prevailing-wage requirements apply would depend on the final estimated project cost and should be confirmed before posting the bid.
The board accepted a resignation from Ashlee Couture of the Department of Job and Family Services, effective pay period ending April 18, 2026, and authorized advertising for a Child Support Case Coordinator to fill the vacancy (Resolution 2026-244). The board also approved a Purchase Order editing process and travel requests (Resolution 2026-245).
All procedural resolutions are recorded in the meeting journal and contain standard findings that actions were taken in open session pursuant to Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
