Commissioner Matt Reedy to retire Sept. 16, recommends Andrew Stoffer as successor
Commissioner Matt Reedy announced he will retire effective Sept. 16, 2025, and recommended Andrew Stoffer as his replacement. The board acknowledged his announcement during routine closing business and adjourned to the next meeting on Aug. 19.

During announcements at the close of the Aug. 5 meeting, Commissioner Matt Reedy told colleagues he will retire effective Sept. 16, 2025. Reedy recommended Andrew Stoffer be named as his replacement and the recommendation was entered into the minutes for consideration by the appropriate appointing authorities.<br><br>Commissioner Drew Markel closed the meeting and the board recessed until its next regular session on Aug. 19, 2025. The retirement notice will be handled through the county's standard personnel and appointment procedures.
