The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners voted Feb. 10 to accept a $107,492.70 bid from JT's Pro Pressure Washing to sand‑blast and paint Rainbow Bridge, with the work to be funded from American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) dollars. Commissioner Cory Moates made the motion and Chair Myra Carlisle Frazier seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
