The Sebastopol Union School District Board of Trustees voted June 12 to approve the district’s 2025–26 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and the Budget Overview for Parents. Trustee Colin Foulke moved the measure and Trustee Jonna Thomas seconded; the vote was recorded as Ayes: Deborah Drehmel, Colin Foulke and Jonna Thomas; Absent: Lisa Bauman and Olivia Leon.
Superintendent Sara Gramm presented the written superintendent report and the LCAP materials; the board packet noted that the district’s spring redesignation rate improved this year and that gains increased by grade level. The LCAP packages included the district’s goals, metrics and the budget overview intended for parents to explain planned spending and targeted supports for students.
Board members did not record extended debate on the item. The approval places the LCAP and its parent-facing budget summary into effect for planning and reporting in the 2025–26 school year; the district packet includes more detailed numeric targets and metrics. The board’s action was procedural and final for local adoption.
