On a camper-permit variance, the property owner at 261 East Inali Livestock Road requested a temporary variance to live in a camper while a manufactured home is placed; the board amended the motion to limit the variance to 90 days and approved the amendment. Staff also presented purchases: Currhee Security Systems ($2,055) for jail security upgrades; Piedmont Contracting ($34,300) for new garage doors at Public Works; AEST Fire and Safety ($22,105) for a compressor for New Hope; and Mobile Communications America ($43,458.51) for annual E-911 maintenance — all budgeted items that the board approved by voice vote.
