Chairman Michael Clark said he did not think the commission "should vote on the plat, only the conditions and recommendations," and commissioners agreed that reconsidering preliminary plats after required studies would help the board see why any conditions were changed before the County Commissioners act.
The commission unanimously recommended the text changes, and members said the updates would clarify process steps for applicants and better align local code with recent state statutory changes affecting development water supplies.
