Commissioners adopt two ordinances expanding delegated purchasing and contract authority
The board approved Ordinance 2025-01 (amending purchasing procedures to allow purchasing agents to buy up to $5,000) and Ordinance 2025-02 (delegating authority to enter contracts ≤ $5,000 to elected officials and department heads); both passed unanimously and take effect Feb. 1, 2025.
