Eric Hinderliter, director of the Jay County Library, asked the commissioners on Dec. 23 to reappoint Amy Hawbaker to a four-year term on the Jay County Library Board. Hawbaker had been appointed on Sept. 23, 2024, to complete the term vacated by Tabby Sprunger; commissioners approved the reappointment unanimously.
