As part of action items taken April 13, 2026, the Patrick County Board of Supervisors approved several appointments and contract awards in open session. On motions recorded in the minutes, the board appointed Richard Cox (Smith River District) to finish a term ending December 31, 2026, and appointed Penny Vasquez as the County Administration representative to the Children's Services Act (CPMT) board.
