Mayor Robbie McCoy called a special session of the Veneta City Council to order at 4:45 p.m. on May 28 in the J.W. “Bill” Smigley Room and announced a last-minute vacancy on the Budget Committee. She told the council she wanted to appoint Ric Ingham to fill the seat for the 2026–27 budget review.
