Ottawa Road paving underway; county targets end‑of‑August completion
Contractor completed cement base and started asphalt paving on Ottawa Road; surface layers, rock shoulders, striping and seeding are scheduled next, with a target completion date at the end of August, county staff reported.

County staff and contractor Schwab Eaton updated commissioners on progress for Ottawa Road. The cement base was completed the week before last, crews began asphalt paving with the northbound lane finished, and crews planned the southbound lane base after a weather delay.
