Bingham told the board the county intends to adopt the 2024 International Fire Code "so that we will open up a supplemental use regulation section that will regulate recreational vehicle parks." He said Planning & Zoning voted 4–0 to forward the proposed changes. Commissioners approved publishing the notice of intent to solicit public comment and indicated they expect further workshops on the RV‑park standards.
The amendments address multiple sections (purpose and application, district use chart, conditional uses, parking tables, fees and definitions). Staff said those postponed items will return after additional Planning & Zoning work and public input.
