Budget Strategy Manager Daria Kryskis told the council the city issued a GEO bond earlier this year that produced about $30,000,000 and the proposed 2026 budget includes budgeting those proceeds and the debt-service collections to pay that bond.
Kryskis listed planned projects funded by those proceeds: design, engineering and construction for Huntley Hills Park, Nancy Creek West and Savoy Trails, Wood Acres Park/South Stanley Park, and implementation of the Keswick Park master plan. "We issued that bond earlier this year and received about $30,000,000 in revenue," she said.
