Avon council adopts emergency appropriations amendment
Council suspended the rules and adopted Ordinance No. 6-26 to amend and supplement the city's appropriations ordinance; both suspension and adoption passed unanimously.

Council acted to suspend the rules and adopt Ordinance No. 6-26, an amendment and supplement to Appropriations Ordinance No. 106-25, and declared it an emergency. The motions to suspend and to adopt each passed 7–0. "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND SUPPLEMENT APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE NO. 106-25 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY," the clerk read by title prior to the motions.
