Ag District plans to refocus event center work before SNPLMA application window

Kathy Workman, finance director for White Pine County, told the Agricultural District on Jan. 21 that the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act (SNPLMA) application window was expected to reopen the week of Jan. 26 and that finance planned a meeting with SNPLMA (possibly Jan. 29) to review the District's Appendix L.
Workman said the county is shifting previously self-funded items over to SNPLMA but warned that work on items not listed as reimbursable deliverables could jeopardize reimbursement. She said SNPLMA applications are likelier to be approved when projects have a parks/trails/natural-resources theme and that phased projects and a CMAR procurement could speed implementation if Appendix L is accepted.
