Forestry and Parks schedules workshops, invasive-species plan and infrastructure work
Staff announced upcoming tours and workshops, an invasive-species assessment at Siskiwit Falls Preserve, concept-plan updates for multiple parks, and noted low April yurt occupancy and several recurring approved events.

Department staff outlined several near-term activities: a Natural Resources Foundation tour on May 7 led by Sara and foresters, and a green tree retention workshop on June 9 led by Mike and Jeremiah in partnership with the DNR, Ruffed Grouse Society and American Woodcock Society. Staff said they had hired Eco North to do an invasive species assessment and management plan for the Siskiwit Falls Preserve and that Jason Fischbach will assist with a management plan for the preserve orchard.
