Commissioners approve revised cell-tower lease at fairgrounds

Box Elder County approved a revised lease agreement for a cell tower at the fairgrounds after county counsel reviewed redrafted language submitted by the company.
County Attorney Steve Hadfield told commissioners the tower company had redrafted the lease and the office reviewed the new language. "We had approved it before and then they redrafted it basically because they wanted to use their language on our same language," Hadfield said.
Commissioner Perry moved to approve the revised cell-tower agreement; Commissioner Vincent seconded the motion. The commission voted 'Aye' and the motion carried. Hadfield said the county attorney's office had reviewed the revised contract and recommended approval.
