At the close of its work session the Plain City Village Council recorded several formal actions. The council approved a preliminary development plan (UD‑25‑1) for Noah Beachy Farms after a motion and recorded votes. The council also moved Ordinance 10‑25 and recorded that the ordinance passed by vote on the record (6–0).
Council members took second readings and votes on a series of resolutions. Resolution 18‑2025, amending the wage scale for Plain City Police Department employees, passed 6–0. The council also passed resolutions authorizing the sale of municipally owned personal property and village property (Resolution 19‑2025 and Resolution 20‑2025) and recorded actions on services for a proposed annexation of approximately 70.5 acres in Darby Township (Resolution 21‑2025), which passed 6–0 as recorded.
Earlier in the meeting the council agreed to waive the second reading and declare an emergency for Ordinance 11‑2025, extending the moratorium on mobile‑vendor licenses while the village finalizes code language and a permit system. The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn.
