"They have done nothing but bust their butts for the last 3 weeks, trying to get us back up and running," Commissioner Perry said as he invited Keith Keller, Nate Hammer and Aaron Hanks forward for recognition. Perry said the IT team is a three-person operation that received outside assistance but carried the heavy lift of restoration efforts.
Commissioners praised the staff's long hours and resilience, noting the incident affected county employees' work and services to the public. Perry said the commission hopes the county's experience and shared information with other jurisdictions will help prevent similar incidents elsewhere. No formal action beyond public recognition was recorded.
