Commissioner Cayla Kutaka reported that the Department of Human Services had filed an official press release about the State of Hawaii's Mandated Reporter Training Platform and a DHS guide for mandated reporters. Vice Chair Paul Tonnessen moved that Commissioner Kutaka draft a CCY press release announcing the training platform and submit it to the Department of Human Concerns for approval; Commissioner Catherine “Momi” Medeiros seconded and the motion passed unanimously (6-0, 2 absences, 1 vacancy).
