Wayne County acknowledges $1.9 million state RACP award for agriculture innovation projects

Commissioner Brian W. Smith told the board that the county received an acceptance letter from the Pennsylvania Office of the Governor for $1.9 million in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) funding dedicated to agriculture innovation-related projects. The board voted unanimously to acknowledge the letter and authorized the chairman and grant manager to electronically sign documents accepting the award; the minutes cite the Capital Budget Project Itemization Act of 2020-036 as the legislative itemization for the project.
