Comal County approves multiple plats and minor variances
The commissioners approved several plat amendments and final plats (Lantana Ridge Unit 1, Legends at Rancho Del Lago, Overlook at Canyon Lake, Vintage Oaks conveyance, Encina Vista replat) and released a maintenance bond for Copper Canyon Unit 12; staff recommended approval for each and the court carried the motions by voice.

County planning staff presented a string of subdivision- and plat-related items and recommended approval in each case. The actions included an amendment to Lantana Ridge Unit 1 to combine Lots 12 and 13 into Lot 12R; a small amendment at The Legends at Rancho Del Lago to add 0.333 of a lot; final plat approval for Overlook at Canyon Lake (including a variance for curve data linked to steep topography); a meets-and-bounds conveyance in Vintage Oaks to restore original lot sizes under Texas Local Government Code §232.010; and the vacate-and-replat of a lot on Rebecca Creek Road to provide access to an adjacent 114‑acre tract.
