The Comal County Commissioners Court approved several routine infrastructure and event items at its Oct. 3 meeting.
Staff recommended and the court approved accepting a one‑year continuation certificate for a construction bond (transcribed as 100,243,983) for roads and improvements in the Estates at Mitchell Ranch after the city provided an extension. The court also approved granting an overhead electric easement to Pedernales Electric Cooperative so the cooperative can extend a three‑phase service for sports‑field lighting at Jumbo Evans Sports Park.
Additionally, the court authorized an event license agreement with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for a weekend fundraising bike ride that will use the Precinct 4 JP office parking lot as a rest stop on Sunday between 08:30 and 14:00. Each item was approved by motion and voice vote.
