The Comal County Commissioners Court on Oct. 10 approved claims totaling $2,276,005.96 and cleared a series of routine administrative and land-use items.
"EFTs, $1,112,131.81," said Commissioner Eccleston when moving approval of claims, followed by a roll call by voice and a court vote to carry the motion. Regular claims were listed at $1,163,874.15, producing the $2,276,005.96 total presented to the court.
Beyond claims, the court approved multiple line-item transfers, accepted a $4,617 donation for park lighting, released a maintenance bond for Copper Canyon Unit 12, and authorized several plat amendments and final plats. The court also amended a proposed roads funding transfer to remove a quiet-zone engineering study (see separate story).
