Outside firm reports high liquidation rates in Potter County delinquent‑collections program

Brent Sherrod of Purdue, Brandon, Fielder, Combs & Mott presented a year‑to‑date collections report for Potter County JP accounts, detailing outreach and results. He said the firm sent hundreds of thousands of letters and made more than 100,000 phone calls on behalf of the county and that, collectively, the efforts resulted in liquidating about $12.5 million in delinquent fines and fees from the JP courts.
