Board members approved goals and performance measures to meet new state legislation (HB7013) requiring special districts to post an annual goals-and-objectives report; the initial report is due Dec. 1, 2025 and must be posted on the CDD website.

Mrs. Cleo Adams, District Counsel Tony Pires and District Manager Chuck Adams summarized the new statutory requirement in HB7013 that special districts set annual goals and develop performance measures and standards. The board identified three focus categories for Fiscal Year 2025: Community Communication and Engagement, Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance, and Financial Transparency and Accountability.
