Georgetown-Ridge Farm board accepts resignations, approves coaches and support hires

At its Feb. 16, 2026 meeting, the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Community Unit District #4 board accepted personnel changes and approved several new hires.
Board member Nancy Dalenberg moved to accept human-resources items and Heather Roberts seconded; the motion carried unanimously. The minutes record: "Accept: resignation of special education teacher Michael Williamson," and they list other personnel actions that the board approved.
The board also accepted a maintenance resignation (Cohen Cavanaugh) and the resignation of MMJH cheer coach Michelle Scrogham. Appointments approved included GRHS assistant softball coach James Harris, student worker 4-hour custodian Simonas Ankstutis and Pine Crest 5-hour cook Tarna Freeman. The board’s roll call for these motions listed Greg Emmert, Nancy Dalenberg, Heather Roberts, Betsy Daily, Mark Learnard and Lori Starwalt as present.
The personnel approvals were passed as a grouped Human Resources motion; no individual vote tallies against the motion were recorded in the minutes.
