The Rankin Board approved the quote, purchase, and adoption of Bridges Math Curriculum from The Math Learning Center during its Jan. 26 meeting. "Motion by Member Lowman and second by Member Helfers to approve the quote, purchase, and adoption of Bridges Math Curriculum, The Math Learning Center, as presented," the minutes state; the motion passed on a roll call vote of 4–0.
Superintendent Dr. Matt Gordon had earlier noted the planned math curriculum purchase as one of the largest planned expenditures in the Original Budget and factored it into fiscal projections. The board provided no additional changes to the recommendation and moved to adopt the curriculum as presented.
