Committee requests consolidated Sinking Fund project list; several maintenance projects underway

The Facilities Committee asked staff to prepare a consolidated Sinking Fund project list that contains all current and future projects and to include that list as a standing agenda item. Deputy Superintendent Lisa Anderson briefed the committee on current Sinking Fund activity and future items.
Anderson said ongoing work includes carpet replacement at Ryan Intermediate, lighting improvements at Kellogg Elementary, and air conditioning work at Richland Elementary; skylight replacement at Ryan Intermediate is scheduled to begin after the school year and supplies have been delivered. Anderson also reported that the Kellogg Elementary air conditioning project will not be bid in the current cycle because the scope and cost exceed available funding.
