The Jackson County Legislature on May 11 adopted Resolution 22,268 recognizing National Nurses Week 2026 and honoring the service of nurses at University Health, Kansas City, and other area hospitals. The clerk read the resolution and the body approved adoption by roll call. The clerk recorded 6 yes votes, with two legislators excused and one absent.
