Board approves grant-funded site assessment for district facilities

The Dundee Community Schools Board voted Sept. 8 to approve a site assessment recommendation that Superintendent's staff said will be paid for with grant monies. Trustee Keith Pilbeam moved to approve the assessment and Trustee Kimberly Wilkins seconded; the motion passed 6-0 with one absence.
Superintendent Mr. Leach explained the purpose of the site assessment during the meeting and said grant funding will cover the cost. The board made no additional amendments to the recommendation and recorded no opposing votes; administrators will proceed with the assessment as presented.
