Crime Stoppers asks for county support to fund tip system and launch campus program

Chloe Das, executive director of Crime Stoppers, asked the county for operating funds for software, insurance and outreach, and outlined a fall launch of a Campus Crime Stoppers program at three middle schools. She said the group receives 30–80 tips per month and has helped produce seven arrests this year.

Chloe Das, executive director of Crime Stoppers, briefed county officials on the program's local work and requested operating funding for phone/software (P3 tip system), insurance, outreach and staff support. Das said the local program — formally San Angelo Crime Stoppers, operating as Concho Valley Crime Stoppers — has generated seven arrests this year and paid three rewards.
