An April 2 public comment session convened by an ad hoc committee of Virginia Tech's Board of Visitors recorded comments from six individuals on proposed 2026-27 tuition and mandatory fees. The minutes list the speakers and their affiliations where provided: Emma Roshioru (undergraduate student; President of the Undergraduate Student Senate), Kristopher Charles Hite (faculty), Juno Bartsch (graduate student), Emilie Helmbold (graduate student), Shallon M. Jozi (graduate student), and Thomas Feely (undergraduate student).
