Alexandria School Board certifies election returns; capital projects levy failed
At a Nov. 10 special meeting the board adopted a resolution canvassing Nov. 4 returns and recorded that the proposed Capital Projects Levy failed (3,038 yes; 3,391 no). The board voted 6-0 to adopt the canvass and directed the clerk to certify results to county auditors.

At its Nov. 10, 2025 special meeting, the Alexandria School Board adopted a resolution canvassing the returns of the Nov. 4 special election on a proposed Capital Projects Levy. The Abstract and Return attached to the resolution recorded 6,433 voters in the district: 3,038 voting in favor and 3,391 voting against the levy; the resolution declares the proposition failed.
