Staff told the Planning and Zoning Commission that council postponed rezoning case RZ 2511 for the former Indiplex site to January, approved a proposed planned-development text amendment, and addressed right-of-way abandonment items.

During staff updates, the commission heard that multiple planning items taken to the Dec. 9 Bryan City Council meeting were resolved or deferred. Staff said rezoning case RZ 2511 — for a portion of property at the corner of Turkey Creek and Fen Feather, identified as the former Indiplex property — "was postponed to the January meeting." Staff added that a proposed text amendment to the city's code governing planned developments (a PD amendment intended to provide developers more guidance) was approved by council.
