Lieutenant Josh Boucher of the Davis County Sheriff's Office told the South Weber City Council on March 25 that the county's Suicide Postvention Plan is “an organized response aimed at supporting affected individuals to help alleviate suffering and emotional distress, and to prevent additional trauma and contagion.” The plan includes psychological first aid, crisis intervention, survivor connection cards and guidance for safe, planned engagement with media partners.
